If there were aliens, and the government knew they existed--- they'd never tell us. We as a community lose our sh!t over basically a severe cold--- we hoard-- we steal-- we price gouge-- we treat each other like the enemy even though we are neighbors-- and we act like frightened little spoiled, panicky children.

And we wonder why our government keeps certain things classified. The vast majority of our public are just too feeble minded to handle the truth. Enjoy living in the Matrix, suckers.

Whenever one lies about something, one should make the lie as close to the truth as possible, which is what the Gov has done with Roswell, in their stories about weather balloons, etc. In Intelligence work, if you are trying to verify a certain fact, one always looks for an obscure reference, i.e. a mention in a doc or area as far removed from the subject as possible:

Example: A close Hollywood friend of Marilyn Monroe was being interviewed by a reporter about Marilyn's involvement with Bobby Kennedy, when she blurted out the following in what was a salacious story about the Kennedy's..."and do you know what Bobby told Marilyn, that we had discovered a space ship with dead aliens!"

That item had no business in that interview; therefore, it is probably true!
