Reading a book of TJ quotes…

Some of my favorites so far.

-One man with courage is a majority.

-I would rather be exposed to the inconveniences attending too much liberty than those attending too small a degree of it.

-I’m a great believer in luck, and I find the harder I work, the more I have of it.

-The most valuable of all talents is never using two words when one will do.

-All tyranny needs to gain a foothold is for people of good conscience to remain silent.

-The natural progress of things is for liberty to yield and government to gain ground.

-No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms.

-The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants. It is it’s natural manure.

-The beauty of the Second Amendment is that it will not be needed until they try to take it.
