Many experts picked ou to be in the playoffs this year while most posters on this board believed they were "overrated" and had no business being a top 5 team in the polls.......figuring they would once again prove to the experts that "Big game bob" and his team was overhyped at the beginning of the season.......yet again.

For the record, Baylor's back up QB started the game. He got hurt on a hit in the game. At the time he went out the score was 17-0, Texas. A few weeks later that same WR played QB again and they kicked the crap out of North Carolina. They may not have been completely healthy, but we beat the team they put on the field.
That same guy ran for 300 of Baylor's 645 yards of rushing, in their bowl game, against NC. Texas' defense was extremely injury riddled in that game.

Watching the game - it wasnt anywhere near as close as the final score... much like when Texas beat ou last year.... even the commentators stated the same thing at the end of the game.. and on Sports Center, etc etc...... You win the LOS and you beat ou.... Texas showed that last year and Clemson and Houston used that knowledge to smash them as well...
Baylor didn't start running the wildcat in their game with UT until way too late. They perfected in planning for UNC and made Gene Chizik look completely incompetent.

OU definitely has problems that barring a total turn around in performance especially on offense, will result in several losses this year.
Exactly how many bets do I need to make with sooners on that game? If Houston doesn't fumble while running a zone read from the 1 yard line, they go up 40-17. The second half of that game was a blow out. Having said that, Texas fans should be very concerned about the RRR. This game could end up like last year, a struggling team toppling a heavy favorite. I think Texas wins, but I would be a little uneasy at the same time.
Gotta add Clemson to that list. I don't care if they struggled against Auburn. That was a night game, on the road in a tough environment. People make WAY to big of a deal sometimes when a top rated team struggles. They are too talented on offense. I think it's a three team race between us, Clemson, and the winner of OSU-Michigan.
Then you can throw in a few sleeper teams like Stanford, Houston, and possibly Texas or even Baylor if they can fight through some serious adversity.
