By and large most white people feel offended by the BLM. They view the BLM as an attack on their countries values and their personal values as well.

It is very hard to find a black shooting victim who a. Does not have numerous criminal convictions and b. Was cooperating with police requests or c. Was not fleeing the police.

Its the view of most white people that when acting like a criminal or living a criminal life style getting shot by police is expected.

White people question why the focus is not on fixing the problems that lead to criminal activity instead of attacking those who enforce the laws.

To say black people are targeted should not matter. Until data shows that the number of blacks stopped are not in violation of a law are more than those who are then the assumption by white people is that the targetting is justified.

If you can show videos of blacks without a criminal history and who are not resisting Arrest getting shot or beaten this perception would end quickly.

At the end of the day - breaking the law is breaking the law.

I believe this is the great divide.

It has nothing to do with skin color as most white people expect the same to happen to white criminals.
