Is he back to shagging pornstars?

His golf game seems to be improving.

Does anyone else feel like a hole has been filled in golf? Ever since Tiger went downhill it always felt as if something was missing. It’s nice to see him back.

I don't care if he won a golf tournament he's still an a***ole.

Not just a golf tournament, it was The Masters! His comeback story is right up there at the top. He not only had to face inner demons but also physical injuries. Normal people don't overcome that, especially in golf.

I guess for a lot of people. However, there are 12 golfers at 30 or younger that have incredible skill.

I think Tiger came at a time when golf was really, REALLY bad. Now you see these guys as the byproduct of Tiger's dominance

Justin Thomas (1 - PGA)
Jordan Spieth (3 - Masters, US Open, Brit Open)
Hideki Matsuyama
Tony Finau
Brooks Koepka (3 - US Open x 2, PGA)
Xander Schauffele
Rory McIlroy (4 - US Open, Brit Open, PGA x 2)
Bryson DeChambeau
Tommy Fleetwood
Jon Rahm
Rickie Fowler
Patrick Reed (1 - Masters)

This doesn't even count Jason Day (31) and Dustin Johnson (34).

Now, I'm not saying Tiger was all of these guys' favorite player but the game grew to an ultra competitive level and caused these guys to work harder/compete at a higher level.

For me, golf is in a very good place. Those 12 guys already have 12 Majors to their name. They have 14 if you count Day and Johnson. When all is said and done, I think that group of 12 will have 30+ Majors and I think 4 of them will have 5 or more. Just incredible depth.

You're right Tiger Woods didn't have that much competition. He's also 43 and don't be surprised if this turns out to be his last hurrah.

There are definitely many good players and most of them are young, but they're not Tiger. Look at the size of crowds that follows him around the course, he has his own video games, etc... I think the main part was the nostalgia people got from watching him win another major. You don't have that with any other player, except for if Phil would win another one. When Tiger was in his prime he made golf cool for those that didn't play golf.

No, they're not Tiger. I'm not sure if you thought I was trying to say they were or what...???

Tiger is the reason that there are so many young, athletic American golfers. He brought fitness to the game of golf and now you see 315 yard drives as the norm.

Arnold had game and charisma
Jack was a ridiculous champion...18 majors and what, 16 2nd place finishes? Just dumb

Nobody between those two guys and Tiger. I mean Fred Couples, DL3, Azinger, Calcavecchia, Duval, O'Meara, Kite, Leonard, Janzen? LOL, no. Payne Stewart and John Daly were the closest and still not in the same universe. That was the best the US had to offer. The best players in the world were not American. In fact, Couples or Stewart were probably the highest ranked American and still barely squeaking in the top 10...if even in the top 10.

Tiger had a little mixture of Arnold and Jack which is why people adored him so much. And like you said, made golf cool. He rejuvenated the game...gave it life again.

He's not a monster. D-bag, probably. But everybody has their moments.

Plus he grew up in a weird environment. Being mixed race is not easy, and while his dad helped him become great, you have to wonder what kind of psychological toll it takes on a kid to be pushed that hard.

Throw in the sick amount of fame that has claimed countless others?

It not super surprising that he crashed and burned.

It's perhaps more surprising that he was able to refocus, and come all the way back. You don't see that very often.

Kind of like Donald, but I think only one of those are true.
I think that's a false equivalent. Tiger got married and Nike sold his image of being a family man. Had he of stayed single and banged chicks like Derek Jeter, nobody would have given a crap. And I'm pretty certain the current POTUS never sold himself as a "great husband". Tiger had us convinced that he was this great husband figure.

Along those lines ---- I love Phil, but at every major he has won he has those cute little daughters with the bows in the hair come running out to greet him after he wins and created their great TV moment. I've always wondered --- do they have the girls dressed and ready to go on the Sunday of every major, just in case Daddy gets hot and pulls out the victory? That's a lot of wasted Sundays!

And don't forget to mention pampered, arrogant, and entitled. And it was like he took pride in being a bad tipper. And there were all the people in his inner circle that he fired, many times for no reason. And then when the s*** hit the fan about his love life he sat alone in his house playing video games and eating fruit loops. True story. You can take this any way you want but when it came to his sex life the man definitely knows how to get loose.
