"Let's piss off the British SBS" they said.
"It'll be fun" they said.

Talking points--

Someone in Iran thought it would be a good idea to hijack a British super tanker loaded with oil. Turns out, it's probably going to end up being a bad idea.
You see, the Brits have this group of blokes called the SBS which stand for Special Boat Service. And while this may sound like a bunch of guys that can not only change the oil on your yacht, but they'll also throw in a free wax job on the hull--- they aren't those kid of guys. They are the United States version of the Navy SEALs and they have a particular predilection for fvcking people up.

They don't have the rockstar mentality that our SEALs have--- instead they shun the limelight and focus solely on their mission. I have a feeling that there's about to be an oil tanker that gets liberated with extreme prejudice in the very near future. Dis gon b gud.

I've got my popcorn ready for this one. I'd like to see the US sit this one out and let GB handle this one on their own. They're more than capable of teaching Iran a much needed lesson.

The tankers are being taken to one of Irans ports so this just became much more "touchy." No doubt their boys can drop in, lay waste to any chaps without a proper boarding pass, and have a High Tea faster than you can say mohammed but this is now in their sovereign territory. The whole world has eyes on those ships.

Theresa May, Iran just captured your pawn giving you a chance to save face from your brexit debacle. What's your move?

This has more developing plotlines than a telenovela. Popcorn in the microwave, this might get juicy.

I noticed an article linked at the bottom about Israeli f35s and had to check it out too. Supposedly Israel has already flown 3 f35s to Tehran and back completely undetected. Not a good sign if you're a
Iran RG troop. Ha!

Telenovela has me pissing my pants right now.

Pay attention to oil prices. June 19 WTI is about $53 and Brent is $61. June 20th drone is shot down. A week later WTI Shoots up to $59 and peaks a little over $60 Brent shoots up to $65 and peaks around $67. Word leaks that the US and Iran have been having some discussions and WTI goes down to $55 and Brent is back down at $61. Then Iran decides to impound a tanker and oil prices are back up.They are pretty good at being proactive without going over the deep end. They know any military action would push oil prices into the $90-100 price range and hurt a global economy that is showing some signs of slowing down.

that SBS....or what ever you call it....seems they wee the "special" force that gave us the inspiration/blueprint to create the SEALS in the first place. They may be as or even more elite than the SEALS. The Iranians supposedly "detained" the ship for smuggling. My guess is they had best come up with some irrefutable proof or they might be in a tad of a bind.

Forget the Isriaelies....we will not ever let them get in a scrape with the Iranians. We tell em to stand down and let us handle it.

This is an inside job. Total inside job. There is not one single British citizen on that tanker. This is a premeditated inside job arranged by the crew and the Iranians. Bet on it.

And the plot thickens!
Why an inside job? Get us in a war so opec margins get fatter?

Why did they hijack a British ship crewed with no British people? Britain is known to protect its citizens the world over. You jack a British ship with no British citizens on it knowing that the Brits won't send SOF guys in because---- who gives a sh!t about some rich ass company's boat load of oil? The insurance company and the owner. And those groups don't have the ability to launch a raid and recapture the vessel. Of all the. British tankers they just "happened" to choose the one with zero actual British citizens on it?

Come on man. You did Intel and counter Intel for years. This stinks to high heaven.

I may actually have to get cable tv at the trailer to watch this go down

I thought the 1st ship wasn't just flag tagged and had actual Brits. I got excited over nothing.

Nevermind, I just read this on fox's article,

"The U.K.-flagged Stena Impero, which has 23 crew members of Indian, Russian, Latvian and Filipino nationalities aboard."

The Russians are involved....no US intervention here.

See what I mean? This was a BS ploy at getting a response. Iran leadership knows that sanctions are about to crater them. When the shoe drops, will the people riot? But if the ayatollah can get the US or Britain to take some form of military action and kill some Iranians or blow some sh!t up, Iran's leadership can galvanize it's citizens against the West and hang onto their power.

If we simply surround them in our modern battlefield like Sherman did to Savannah, we can "starve them out" so to speak and force them back to the negotiation table. This "we have to wait six weeks to inspect certain nuclear sites" crap won't stand. If they want nuclear power it must be done under the watchful eye of our DOE. Period. Full stop.

Here's a lovely view of the "best of the best" Iranian troops performing their version of the HRST as they board the ship.

Fresh, try not to piss yourself from laughter while watching.

Its not quite that simple. Iran has been building affiliated Shiite militias all over the region that have the ability to start to stir s*#t up with our regional allies. The biggest ones are Hezbollah and Hamas but they have armed and funded militias in Iraq, Yemen, and Syria. I also have a feeling they have been providing support to groups inside Jordan and Oman as well. If the US or UK take military action that harms Iranian civilians these militia groups are going to start causing problems. Then there is also Russia and China looming in the background. Iran knows they are safe as long as they don't kill an American. This is the new face of modern warfare. This is the only way Iran knows how to extract concessions from the West.

They were doing a good job until the whole tanker debacle. They had tacit support for lifting sanctions from most EU members. Now they have further isolated themselves. As we get closer to the election I expect them to do similar types of things in the Straights or Hormuz with the goal of making shipping companies pay for extra security and foreign navies increasing patrols and escorting ships through the region. It might add $5-10 per barrel especially if they time it with the start of the summer driving season. Its going to get really interesting in the next 6-8 months.

Reply before watching. Today was my little girls 4th b-day party and I was in charge of the BBQ pit, obviously. 2 Boston butts and a million hotdogs later, it's just the core family at the ranch and I have had enough birthday brews to laugh at anything. Yes, I'm on the crapper.
Let's play the video of the best training a jihadist can get in exchange for the life of his imeadiate family. ...true story.

Dude, that cannot be the irg of today. 15sec on the slide and an overhand salute to boot!?
Jesus, any boat with a redneck, a case of stones and anything stronger than a black cat could have averted that insurgency.
Helo in hz for a good 2min while they piled on top of each other. Thank has got to be a joke.
I've seen much more flattering vids of their ops. Good lawd I'd love to run up on these cats.
I believe these guys are standard rank and file knuckle draggers because I didn't see the dual sword and daggered wreath.
Will review later when sober.

Here's the problem with extra security-- if you're on a ship under the American flag, you can have guns on that boat. There's no law against it. But once you get into sovereign waters of another nation, you can't have that gun. Pirates aren't stupid. They know this. That's why they try not to attack you in international waters. There's also liability to carrying things that fire high speed projectiles, on ships that are loaded with flammable things like--- oil. Insurance companies tend to frown on that. So to make this work, you'd have to dump your gun overboard when you entered Saudi waters (for example). Do you hire a guy with a tug boat to sit off the coast in international waters so you can offload your guns to him and pick them back up on your way out? I guess you could. But that costs money and it's stupid because the pirates will just hit you before or after you have or get rid of your weapons. And when the insurance company finds out you've hired ex South African mercs to protect your ship, expect your premiums to roughly double.

Dude--- when was the last time you were sporting your 24th patch when you went under the wire. Or hell even back at FOB. I've seen dudes without NAME tags on their ADUs. Y'all don't advertise for security reasons. Maybe these tards are learning the same persec.

Iran is a country that does not have a central bank tied to the Bank of International Settlements. The owners of the BIS want a central bank in Iran. North Korea does not have a bank linked with the BIS. While the actions of these countries are nefarious, central banks withing a country tied to the BIS offer control through monetary terms. Only 2 holdouts left.

End the Fed

You're giving them too much credit. If someone wants anonymity they don't imbed a film crew, camos or not. Also, everyone visually communicates but it's up to the viewer to know what they are looking at.

Maybe they have changed things up since I walked. Hell, it's been over a decade now...dang... that's a hard reality pill.

Congrats on your daughters birthday. She is exactly 1 week younger than my four year old niece.
Thanks.
Nothing else in this world is more important. I hope you are able to be an active uncle if you want to. I saw my sister's kids only 3 times before they were driving. No bueno.

I didn't see any hand signals other than the over hand salute to the cam. All I saw were two tards pointing at where they wanted to deploy. But I couldn't stop laughing at their deployment pace. I've seen 20+ marines do the same thing in 30 seconds. Iran needs more pilmoore practice. Dude, go sell them your services. =)roll
