I grew up in the panhandle where it is all rural agriculture and it is mainly Texas, then tech and some scattered pesky gooners fans. (In that order).I grew up in East Texas & it seems like A&M fans are everywhere. I think it has something to do with the Agricultural part.
Where area you buy at?I bought land there (plan to retire there after the military). I always see far more UT fans than Aggie fans.
I'm in El Paso now. Lots of Longhorn & Cowboy fans here.

Nice. I've lived here 38 of my 45 years. It's really changed a lot. I live right outside Gruene on 7 acres. Brietzke Lane right off Hwy 306 to Canyon Lake.Copper Ridge - 1.48 acres

You came just in time to enjoy the mammoth I-10 expansion on the west side. Traffic has been bad. Let me know if you need any recommendations on anything or places.I just moved here with my family at the end of July 2016.
I'm open to recommendations. We live on the Far East side (near my in-laws).You came just in time to enjoy the mammoth I-10 expansion on the west side. Traffic has been bad. Let me know if you need any recommendations on anything or places.
You do realize t-shirt fans are at every school. Honestly haven't seen the large amount of tshirt Longhorn fans the past 3 years. A win tomorrow and they will be coming out of the wood work. Same with TCU the past couple of years. When teams win..it happens. When they lose, they go away. Every school..every year
Of course. It's your fanbase that plays the holier than thou "bet he never went there" game though as if there aren't a ton of aggy band wagoners just like everywhere else. It's your fans who pretend they're the best fans in the universe, resulting in this post. You do realize t-shirt fans are at every school. Inprocessing Fort Bliss & William Beaumont, a lot of people were talking about the Cowboys.I can speak for El Paso. People here (including me) love UTEP. But, it seems that even then, more Texas (and Dallas Cowboy) shirts, hats... are available at all of the stores. You definitely see people wearing mostly Dallas, Texas, then UTEP gear (in that order). Subjectively speaking of course.
Here is some more logic for you. It stands to reason that if Texas is leading merchandising then it isn't just students buying. You have a bunch of tshirt wearing fans who will buy but leave it in the closet until they start winning. Not at all seeing the same amount of Texas shirts around Dalllas/Ft Worth area. Hell 2 of my dads on my sons baseball team are Texas alum and used to always wear shirts and hats at every practice. Not so the past 2 years. They talk about their frustrations but we have joked about their lack of attire the past couple of years. Again, hard for you to notice if your burnt orange goggles can't see through reality.t-shirt fans is a strictly aggy thing.... always talking about them, always trying to trash them as less than... been that way for years.... always seemed to think they are nothing if they didnt actually go to the school they support.... many an aggy tried to make that argument over the years and then turned around and said they didnt have t-shirt fans at aggy.......
As far as not seeing many Texas t-shirt fans lately.... I dont know how you havent seen any seeing as how we are the TOP merchandising brand in CFB and top 5 in ALL sports... so somebody is buying and wearing our gear.... isnt logic fun?![]()
