Iowa state is going to run the football and try to control the clock. This is going to make Orlando feel a little short in the pants, so Beck is going to get cute with the play calls because he's frustrated that the time of possession is in Iowa states favor.

We may find out if Beck is worth keeping or not after this game.

Ok I'm gonna stay on the koolaid. Orlando's extra tackling this week pays off. He has his guys prepared to stop the run, and mixes in more four man fronts.

The offense struggles to get going, but find their groove in second quarter, aided by some big turnovers by the D, and we take a three TD lead into halftime. 24-3

ISU gets a boost by getting Montgomery back in the second half, but don't get to use him much, as that 3 TD lead expands to 4 on Texas' first possession. 31-3.

ISU makes a late run, but Texas finally manages to finish in victory formation. 41-24.

Montgomery is out the 1st half. I see them throwing more until he’s back in the 2nd half. First team to 30 wins.

ISU has a legit top 10 defense, by far the best Texas will have seen. They held WVU to 14 points and OU to their second lowest output of the season. We’ll see how far this offense has really come along.

On offense they have arguably the best WR and the best RB in the conference and they’ve found a QB. Hopefully Texas takes advantage of the RB being out first half.

The Defense is still really banged up by I see Texas grinding it out 20-17.

I don't know much about the LHN personalities. I know Ahmad Brooks and I've seen Kris Budden. What I want to know about is Lowell Galindo. Is he on the LHN a lot? He's doing the play by play and I'm curious what LHN watchers think of him.

One final shout for our seniors they won their final home game. Those kids have been through a lot. They lose their first game by 35 points on national tv against ND. But despite all the losses, all the coaching changes, they've stayed together. And correct me if I'm wrong but if we win on Friday morning were in the Big XII title game. It's not too early to talk about the KS game. We all remember the last time we played there. And they're going all out for coach Beatty. C'mon guys come back to Austin Friday night with a w.

Hey Metcalf I'm happy we won of course our d played great I've been waiting to see this for awhile. This is the best we played since what TCU? KSU? And judging by what I saw of KS/OK we should jump OK in d stats. I'll get a kick lot of that.

I like Lowell. Very likeable and loves Texas.
