I sometimes wish I had paid more attention to this lyric back when I was at the peak of my business career. I was SO busy trying to get it going at times I neglected our family’s needs.
10 years later as the song says, I looked up and our kids were young adults and our parents were older and feebler. There were times I wished I could have spent more time with them to build more memories.
The lesson I learned is to take some time out from the busyness of my career and enjoy what I had at that time.
