“Fear is an insidious and deadly thing. It can warp judgment, freeze reflexes, and breed mistakes. Worse, it’s contagious.” –James Stewart

If you watch the news, there can be a lot to be fearful about. The constant drum beating of bad news can make the most optimistic of us start to feel anxious or worried. This past election campaign was full of fear mongering on both sides.

There are some legitimate things to be fearful of as we go through life’s journey. I prefer to think of these things as “be aware” of and not let them paralyze me. There are risks we all face each day, driving a car, crossing a busy street, dropping our kids off to go to school, yet most of trust that we won’t be harmed.

Fear is the opposite of courage, trust, or faith.

There are no guarantees of health and safety in life. We can rely on common sense to minimize our risks and faith in our Creator to guide us each day. Having a mindset of trust and faith can go a long way to reduce anxiety and bolster our ability to enjoy our lives each day.

Stay faithful my TG friends.
