What can we learn when we have difficult days?

I read a devotional the other day and it addressed the question above.

When we face difficult times, we can react in various ways. We can be fearful, challenged, invigorated (flight response), or other positive/negative responses.

Our Creator encourages us to call upon Him to face these times together. When we do this, we can gain confidence that in Him you can get through anything. This knowledge is based on a few things, your relationship with Him, promises in His word, and past experiences of successfully handling a difficult situation.

As you go through these times you can look back and see how He’s helped you through those times. We can sometimes be tempted to say, well that was then, this is different now. But we need to remember that although our circumstances can drastically change, He hasn’t changed, He remains the same throughout eternity. This is the basis of our confidence. In His presence, we live, move, and have our being.

Blessings to you all today!
