Renew Your Mind
When I try to go to sleep, I find that my mind flows freely. Unfortunately, often my thoughts flow towards problems. My focus gets tied up on a given problem, circling around like a broken record in an attempt to master the problem. My energy is drained away from other matters by this negative focus.
A renewed mind can be trained to focus on our Creator instead, for every situation and any moment. We can find Him in nature, a beautiful sunrise or sunset, a bird chirping outside our window which can often be ignored when our head is looking down only at our current problem(s).
We can also look inward to our spirit and find Him there. We need to seek His face, read His Word, speak to Him and He can light up and renew our minds.
