Are You Suffering Today?
At times we can be disappointed with life, things are going the way we expected, dreams are shattered, and we can feel worn out. This can lead to being more than disappointed, discouraged, perhaps even depressed.
When we are in a situation as described above, if we are not careful, we can spiral out of control and into despair and eventually crash.
Whether we feel like it or not, we need to stop and in faith thank God for these circumstances. This sounds counterintuitive, but this trial is not without a divine purpose. It is not more than you can bear if you have faith, God will provide a way of escape. You can endure. This is a test of your faith.
If you respond in faith and embrace the trial, your obedience will result in praise and glory for your Creator. His guarantee is… “Blessed is a man who perseveres under trial; for once he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him”.
James 1:12
