This quote reminds me of a time when I faced a very rough situation in my life. I was at my wits end and wasn’t sure what my next move should be. For some it’s hitting rock bottom with addiction, for others it’s the end of a relationship or perhaps a job that’s going nowhere.
If you find yourself in one of these types of rock and hard places, it’s time to consider a change.
It could be a small change in attitude or behavior. It could be a realization that under your own control, you are going down the wrong path and it’s time to seek your Creator and others whom you trust for guidance on your next move.
Could it be that in these hard times, the rock and hard place is exactly where God wants you to be so that you will seek His wisdom?
Another way to say this, if you are trapped in a hole you’ve dug yourself into, look UP to find the way out.
