Tommie

I guess the players didn't like him or maybe his recruiting is limited, letting all these guys get away, no wonder Bama wins all the time, something tells me that he is not doing it right! 6 more years I guess...

You do realize that AL also burned OK and LSU with TX commits. I mean kids who had committed there and changed their minds. People in TX don't like it but it happens every few years.

But UT shouldn't bear all of the responsibility in the state of TX. TCU, TT, Baylor, even OSU have never recruited worth a damn. Win in 2021 and most of those TX kids won't do that next year.

And fwiw AL signed kids from 10 different states. They signed some elite recruits from FL. Hey FL fb is in a better place than we are. Also their hs talent is as good as ours. But the #1 recruit in FL signed with AL. In short AL had a remarkable year. For the last few years they've signed any kid they wanted no matter how far away or how good the schools in those states are doing.

And I'll bet some of those TX kids xfr. Not all of those kids will get to play.

Wishful thinking. If Texas wins big in 2021 it will have little bearing on the 2022 class. Kids generally make up their minds during their junior year. Expect to see the Ags have a huge recruiting year next year. If Texas has a great season next year, it will have a big affect on the 2023 class not the 22 class. That is how it works.

Out of the 7 kids that signed with Bama I'm willing to bet 4 of them will transfer. Milroe will be the first, I'm picking both the Brocks will transfer due too much competition. Also that new 3'star kid will transfer as well.

Seeing some smoke going on about the coaching situation. Lots of scuttle about Brian Kelly.
Anyone else hearing anything?

That lineman is from North Shore, Alabama signed a lineman from North Shore last year. That may have influenced his decision.

We use to have a fairly good connection with North Shore, but those kids are use to winning. Why would you come to Texas, if you are use to winning?

I'm not tracking. Now more than ever a high school recruit is more likely to make a a switch during their senior year. If Texas wins the Big 12 and is going to the playoffs their recruiting class will reflect this. We (players) live in a world of instant gratification. This reason, among others, is why Texas is suffering due to their lack of results and to a lesser extent TH's apparent lack of connection. This was epitomized by the Brockermeyer loss(es).

Reading the players' tweets over the past 36 hours there is little to no love for Herman in the Texas locker room.

The players did tweet in support of Carrington and Drayton.
