This is among the dumbest statements I've ever heard a POTUS utter. It is wrong on so many levels, I'm not sure where to begin. Can you imagine the spectacle of massive numbers of American troops guarding oil fields while we extract the natural resources of a sovereign nation, truck it away, sell it and deposit the money into the US Treasury? I can't imagine a more effective means of galvanizing every Muslim extremist in the world - all while making a mockery of American ideals and leadership. It's illegal. It's wrong. It's stupid on every level. Yet he said it again from the WH on national TV last night. WTF? I'm trying hard to see silver linings where I can where Trump is concerned. Then I hear something like this and think the man has lost his mind.
