I just got back from New York and was invited to attend some UN meetings with certain countries about our services and as I walk into the lobby area this dude about 6'8 walks up to me and shakes my hand and says "hook'em horns". I'm like "who the....." and then I realize it's Gabe Muoneke. Dude looks great, like he could play tomorrow. Turns out, the company he is associated with is being brought in along with my company to help in rebuilding infrastructure and providing security for these projects. I'd post the photos on twitter but I got booted off twitter..... @LonghornMM is there anyway I can email this to you and you can post it?

clob, you can email them to me? But I don't have a photo hosting site to upload them to, to post them here though.

Well that sort of defeats the purpose........ don't it? But ya, I will forward to you. Wait... I've got your phone number right?

That is cool, man I remember he played physical. Other than everybody mispronouncing his name, I remember he was supposedly very intelligent.

Now you got me wondering if I was saying it right. Muh-necky?

Yes. But he told me his full name. His family is Nigerian and named him Mbutu Gabriel Muoneke. (muh-necky).

He seems to be doing very well and for him to be called in to participate on a project of this magnitude is a testament to that. I will say he did appear to be a little nervous when he first spoke in the meeting, but after a few seconds he settled in and gave a brief but very competant oral ovature. His demeaner was very measured and I'm looking forward to working with him. My oration follwed his and just before I began speak, I gave him a quick wink to acknowledge how well he had done. I think he saw it. But, ya, dude looks to be doing well.

I think it got better as time went on, but, early on, I remember things like "mo ne kee" or "monique" sounding. Funny. Officially, i thought it was "muh ne ke" which is close to how you wrote it. If Clob asked him and he said it is "kee" at the end, then I am in error.

Anybody remember Bob Kemp? He was (maybe still is) a national late night radio broadcaster in the 90s (I think One on One Sports or Sporting News Radio). He was really knowledgeable and I really enjoyed listening to him. His favorite sport was MLB, but, he covered the 3 major pro sports and MEN's college football and basketball-I make this distinction because he would not entertain any other questions or cover anything else and he would let you know about it if you tried. Well, I specifically remember that he was talking college basketball and mentioned that he thought it was going to be bad news having Rick Barnes' tough/aggressive play (Clemson) style mixed with Gabe Muoneke's "short fuse/aggressive" style. I don't remember any incident where Muoneke laid anybody out or any fights, so it didn't pan out as he thought, but, still fun to remember those days.

Well, I got a check for 180,000 and I need for you to send 5000 to me so I can cash it as that's the fee for cashing it , and then I will pay ya 5 plus 20 more for helping me, and you make 20 for a 5000 investment, The check is from the Nigerian Gov for over-payment on my taxes, don't fall for that deal clob!..lol

Is he living back in Nigeria, spends a lot of time there, or just consults or does everything from the US home. I was just curious on how in touch he is with some of the African countries. I think I remember you not believing in cryptocurrency, but, I was wondering how real the situation is with adoption over there.

Houston and Atlanta were where he spend a lot of time. Because his family immigrated from Africa, I believe he still feels a deep contact to the continent. His significant other is from Congo so I think that plays into it.

I was unable to hear Trump speak..... they don't let us little plebians into UN open meetings like that. They send us upstairs to the meeting rooms so we can talk with the country's decision makers behind closed doors. You have to realize, some laws in America aren't the same as laws in other countries....... with regard to business.
