I would bump the many spinal fusion threads but that’s impossible right now.
Its looking like spinal fusion may happen in January. Its been a 13 year battle with pars defect/spondylolisthesis. I have done PT twice and now I am at the end if the road. Last time I contemplated surgery the doc wanted to do a 360 Flip, which is highly invasive. I was like eff that lets try PT one more time. Well it lessened the issues but I could never stand for more than 30 minutes or run w low impact for 20 minutes.
Now with a disc completely blown out and bone on bone grinding, sharp stabbing pains, legs going numb I believe surgery is my only option. (L5/S1 Grade 1)
I’ll use this thread to chronicle my story so if others are contemplating surgery they can get an idea what its like.
