Their QB is has a knack for picking up short gains throwing and running. You can contain him but he's hard to get on the ground sometimes. They will kill you with 5 yard plays.

QE is not a run threat. QE is not the same QB since he got injured. I am very disappointed with him and Sark because QE admittedly started and finished the Georgia loss, NOT being 100% healthy. No wonder he played scared!

You’re either hurt or you’re injured. Hurt means you suck it up and play. Everybody is “hurt” 7 weeks into the season.
Injured means you can’t go and sit your ass out. If QE buckled up to play, he was hurt. I don’t want to hear shit about his “injuries” after a bad game. Him sliding 5 yards early to avoid contact spoke volumes about where his head is as far as protecting himself.

Vanderbilt offense is built on time of possession it's how they beat Alabama and how they won the next 2 games. They also avoided turnovers against Alabama. If you have average talent like Vanderbilt this kind of strategy gives you a chance.

Stats and rankings don’t always indicate who will win. OP didn’t show all stats anyway. For example, Vandy is ranked 8th in 3rd down conversions while we are ranked 37th. Will that matter on Saturday? No.

Look Vanderbilt doesn't have impressive stats but we're taking about Vanderbilt. Look is they can use at least 37 minutes of top and get a couple of turnovers they'll have a chance.

Stats aside whenever the Commodores played a really good team they played like a team that was already beaten before the game even started. But the Alabama game has changed everything. They won't come in afraid. But I'm sure Sarkisian understands that and he'll make sure his team won't underestimate them.

And I've watched Alabama since the Vanderbilt game. They haven't just lost the fear factor they're playing rattled. This is the upset of the century. I gotta tell ya I enjoyed the hell out of watching Finebaum coming unglued after the Vanderbilt game.

This is a very different situation that Texas is in compared to the past. In the past we all held our breath when the defense took the field because they couldn't consistently stop anybody. A game like this would be terrifying.

Agreed. Our defense is better than Bama by a lot. Quinn has to quit worrying about protecting himself for the draft and just play the game. There’s a way better chance of him getting hurt playing scared than just playing balls out.

I don’t believe the idea that a college kid is playing to save himself for the draft. To clarify I do realize they often will skip a meaningless bowl game, etc. But today’s NIL world QE is already a millionaire. That’s just silly talk. Manning had some awful reads against Georgia as well. Manning's 1H vs. Miss. St. was pretty forgettable too. He has many flaws.
