Vegas odds on MM ban hammer

So MM, feel free to lock this puppy as soon as you read it........ or leave it open for some chuckles.
I'm sitting here the day after the election and I'm asking myself a question or two.
Was MM sitting at work/home during the election last night wondering how many ban hammers he'd have to drop on this forum? I giggle a little thinking about MM sitting there updating the site over and over again waiting on some of us to go full blown politico on his site.

But, MM---- we kept it civil. Are you proud of us? Do we get gold stars and ice cream for good behavior?

Be honest, were you sweating it a little? Did the hammer weigh heavy in your hands? Were you sitting there just waiting to go megaton on somebody?

Inquiring minds want to know....

I took a peek or two right after it was official. Political threads are frustratingly entertaining. I like to see how much it blows up before the door gets slammed.

I'm amused seeing these staged protests today that are accomplishing nothing. why? The people have spoke. It was a fair and square election, ...well hardly fair but it all worked out in the end. Nothing wrong with peaceful protests but Trump has been very clear that the lawlessness, looting and other criminal activity won't be tolerated, don't be surprised if Trump comes in riding and whoopin' to deal with the divisive criminal factions.

I was checking out the board periodically last night. I was glued to the TV though watching the returns and honestly, I was pleasantly surprised at the outcome. All smiles here!

I hope you hold Trump to everyone of his promises.
1. Build the wall with no expense to U.S. Taxpayers
2. No crime anymore
3. No Terrorism anymore....said it would be gone fast I mean fast.
4. Lock Clinton up
5. repeal and replace obamacare with something better and cheaper...going to be fantastic
6. This is the biggie.....He will have 5 to 6% economic growth....
7. Bring back all the lost jobs from Mexico and china and other places back to the U.S..
be the greatest "jobs" President God ever created. He said that not me.

That is a few off the top of my head. You are a republican above anything else and that is your right. The republicans own the entire government now. There is no reason at all that the U.S. will not be perfect now. The land of milk and honey. I will not hope that Trump fails, because if he fails my country fails. I am afraid of being right about this one.

I do not mean any of this sarcastic either. I am being truthful. Not being a jerk. I hope if Trump is successful people will say so and I hope that if he is not people will not make excuses for it.

I don't have anything against conservatism in politics. I think there are good things from both major parties. I am sad that people have to "hate" the other side as if though ALL of our positions are held 'exactly' by 1 or the other political party. It seems to me that people start changing their minds DUE to what the party WANTS them to think rather than what they think themselves. It is kind of like supporting your favorite sports team...like everything about them and hate everything about their opponents.

The U.S. is a great nation and I will fight for it any day to my last breath. I will not hope Trump fails just so I can come on here and tell clob, dozer, mm and a few others "see". Will not do it. I hope he fulfills all the great and wonderful promises he made. I fear we will be even more divided than we are now. Rome was once great and the citizens never thought it would not be. I fear the U.S. citizens are now wanting change so bad that they don't consider that it could be the "wrong" kind of change. I hope it is the "right" kind.
