The New York #Mets are sending the #Astros about $54 million in the Justin Verlander trade, one executive said, if Verlander's $35 million option in 2025 becomes vested. Verlander is owed about $93 million, meaning the #Astros would pay Verlander about $29 million for 2 1/3 years.

Not a bad deal.

Not sure. I was at the July 2nd game they beat us. Houston has owned Texas this year.....again. I like the pitcher additions the Rangers did but Verlander back is tough..............

Owned? Not sure about that. They lead the season series 6-4. 4 of those 6 losses have been decided by 2 runs or less. There's been some really close games.
