Texas hosts the Oklahoma Sooners Saturday, March 8th, which is a must-win for both squads who are on the bubble with Postseason play looming on the horizon.

Head Coach Rodney Terry stated that the biggest thing he’s liked as far as this team goes compared to past ones, is the number of scorers that can provide an efficient night on the offensive end and sees that in this team that’s also in past ones as well.

Rodney Terry was asked if the loser in tomorrow’s game between Texas and Oklahoma has a strong case for an NCAA bid, and while he stated that he is biased towards the SEC in terms of who should get in, he states that this is historically one of the best conference races of all time and that has to mean something.

When asked why Rodney Terry seems so optimistic heading into this matchup as well as postseason play right around the corner, to which Terry responded with, “Well we got Chendall Weaver back

Chendall Weaver will play against Oklahoma however, Rodney Terry says to not expect him to be playing a substantial amount of time in his first game back since Auburn. The coaching staff still want to ease him into the workload he’s familiar with one step at a time that way he can contribute in a big way.
