Vote D'Onta for Heisman!

Done. And he is presently in 2nd! To bad he is a write in though, no respect!

Like others have said, if UT only had a loss or two then he would have a chance, good back. I also believe Fournette is another really good back but has been a victim of the LSU offense.

I could be mistaken but D'Onta is the only top 5 leading in rushing from a P5 school. Amirite?

Long I don't know if there is a great RB this year due to fournette and McCaffrey both struggling with injuries throughout the year. It would be interesting to see what good backs like Foreman, Mixon and perine would do on a weekly basis in a different conference. Right now clob could get 1000 yards a season vs big 12 defenses lol

Foreman is the most complete back this year, his numbers are phenomenal and he missed the UTEP game. Kids tough and he's a hell of a blocker.

His #s are good vs terrible defenses. And I'm not Saying he sucks or taking a cheap shot at him, this applies to all big 12 backs. We don't know if they are great or just good

Interesting results so far:

D'Onta Foreman
20%

Lamar Jackson
17%

Jabrill Peppers
14%

Deshaun Watson
9%

J.T. Barrett
7%

Donnel Pumphrey
6%

Nick Chubb
3%

Christian McCaffrey
3%

Jalen Hurts

And he isn't even on the front page to vote. I guess it's just us! ;)

I've said all along that Foreman is a really good back and his rushing numbers stand on their own but when you say most complete back to me that would include being used in the passing game and I don't recall him catching passes. How are his hands? He' is a really good back though

If D'Onta comes back next year he should be a top candidate. But this year it's either

1. Lamar Jackson
2. Deshawn Watson
and then everyone else

His hands are good, not many passes get thrown his way, be he catches them. He has 6 for 76, I'm not sure how many targets, maybe a couple more. He blocks better than any back I've seen this year which makes him pretty damn complete.

Against big 12 defenses, which are terrible.
Valid point. However, as Spur said, the YAC says a lot. We all sat through Jonathon Grey last season who we (I) consider a decent back. It is night and day between the two.

This may be true but wouldn't Mixon be in the mix then? I mean he's on the team still because he's a great back. But he has no where near the yards that D'Onta has. If the Big 12 defense is so bad we should have multiple RB's from the B12 in the top 10 but we don't we only have 1.

This is what the Rushing Leaders in the B12 look like.
1. D'Onta Foreman, TEX 1613
2. Joe Mixon, OKLA 937
3. Kyle Hicks, TCU 789
4. Justice Hill, OKST 789
5. Terence Williams, BAY 708

This is what the Rushing Leaders in the SEC look like.
1. Kamryn Pettway, AUB 1106
2. Stanley Williams, UK 1025
3. Rawleigh Williams III, ARK 1004
4. Ralph Webb, VAN 935
5. Derrius Guice, LSU 881

This is what the Rushing Leaders in all of D-1 look like.
1. Donnel Pumphrey 1779
2. D'Onta Foreman 1613
3. Brian Hill 1417
4. Aaron Jones 1397
5. Jeremy McNichols 1369

So Fortinet or whatever his name is from LSU is not only not leading the secsecsec, he isn't even leading his own team?......I thought he was all world.

He is all world, but we have seen first hand how hard it is to run the football when you have no threat at QB...they are also running quite a bit of two back sets now because defenses are keying completely on Fournette

In Leonard Fournette's defense he didn't play in 3 games this year and has 800 yds.

so....Foreman is running wild because defenses are NOT keying on him?....good thing for us he is completely ignored by DC's when game planning for us......I get that Fortnette has missed 3 games, but Foreman missed one.....and against the weakest team no less

Foreman should be a little better than 1800 yds after Saturday if he stays healthy. The guy is a beast! If you want to down play his resume for this year because he plays in the B12 go for it. It's still impressive when you look at every other RB in D1. To say he's not "Heisman" good is a joke. He's just not on a great all around team!

Oh no, I wasn't saying that he isn't good because of that or that Foreman isn't having defenses key on him. Just saying the LSU has nothing besides him on the offensive side. UT knows how that feels.

KState has the 10th ranked rush defense, OU the 30th...He racked up yards on both...

As for the SEC. Arkansas has one of the worst rush defenses in CFB at 103.

The almighty SEC WEST has 4 (there are 8 teams) of the worst rush defenses in CFB, Miss State at 54, Aggy at 82 and Ole Miss at 114. You can add several East teams to this as well.

Foreman is awesome. His size/athleticism combo doesn't replicate in a player very often. Do not understand how he flew so under the radar in recruiting.
