Give KU a little credit. I rewatched the series that put us up 10-7. Brooks got 3 yrds on 4th, which put us at 1st and goal.
Hee’s my Layman’s assessment:
1st down: run Brooks up middle, Banks missed his assignment badly and Brooks got nothing and JT was hurt on the play.
2nd down: The set up of J Whitt’s crossing pattern was there, but Majors was unable to handle the LB who got to Quinn and made him rush the pass and subsequently, an errant throw
3rd down: Sark calls a pass play, KU puts 5 on the line and 6 players back.
Not bad play calling by Sark except for not audibling out or timeout to discuss KU’s formation on that 3rd down. Ut, the 1st two downs were badly missed assignments
