Friday 5:15 p.m. Update: Looks like Texas extended an offer to 2016 three-star Klein Oak OT Ryan McCollum, who is committed to Texas A&M.
Thursday 9 p.m. update - DT Stephon Taylor just confirmed via text that he'll be taking an official visit to Texas on January 15.
Thursday 6:50 p.m. update - Been a busy day for me and I missed this earlier, but Texas makes DT Stephon Taylor's top five. Florida State, Oklahoma, South Carolina and LSU round out the top five.
Thursday 11:25 a.m. update: We're hearing that the Longhorns extended a scholarship today to a big-time, 2017 Rivals250 prospect - North Shore defensive end K'Lavon Chaisson. Chaisson confirmed the offer. He's rated as the No. 228 prospect overall in the 2017 Rivals250.
Wednesday 5:25 p.m. update: We've confirmed that Converse Judson DE and Texas A&M commitment Alton Robinson was offered by Texas today.
Wednesday 10 a.m. update - UT commitment DeMarco Boyd had a signing ceremony at his school today, will enroll next week.
Tuesday 7:20 p.m. update - Well this is a first. Texas DT D'Andre Christmas-Giles tweeted out a new top 10 and says he'll release his top three on National Signing Day.
Tuesday 10:05 a.m. update - Texas has extended an offer to 2017 Austin Westlake LB Levi Jones.
Tuesday 10 a.m. update - Per Jason Howell, Oklahoma commitment and Euless Trinity DT Chris Daniels has scheduled his official visit to Texas for Jan 15. He also plans to take an official to Ohio State Jan 29. He does not have a visit scheduled for Jan 22 at this time but Tennessee, Arkansas, and Alabama are the schools he is looking at for that weekend.
