And the offers keep coming ... Texas has offered JUCO DE Isaiah Buggs.

The 6-5, 280-pound Buggs is out of Gulf Coast Community College in Mississippi and already holds a pretty impressive offer list.

Busy day with offers as Texas has now offered Port Arthur Memorial DB Kary Vincent.

Vincent is a four-star prospect and has been in touch with the UT staff quite a bit of late. His dad played wide receiver for Texas A&M.

Friday 12:00 p.m. update: -
According to Josh McCuistion from our Oklahoma site, the Longhorns have extended an offer to 2017 Rivals250 defensive back Justin Broiles. The product of John Marshall High School (Oklahoma City, Oklahoma) is a 6-0 cornerback that's currently the No. 176 prospect overall in the Rivals250. He has a long offer list already.

Friday 10 a.m. update - The Longhorns have extended an offer to Dallas Bishop Dunne DT Damion Daniels.

The 6-2, 310-pounder is a three-star prospect and holds about 10 total offers. I'll try to catch up with him over the weekend for an update.

FYI, Daniels will not be at UT's junior day on Saturday. He said he'd love to attend but already has plans to visit LSU.

Not exactly big news in the way of a positive development, but worth passing along ...

RB J.K. Dobbins tells me he will not be able to attend UT's junior day on Saturday. I would expect Dobbins will get to campus during UT's spring football season at some point.

Tuesday 9:20 a.m. update
- The Longhorns have extended an offer to 2017 Plano East DT Deiontae Watts. The 6-3, 300-pound Watts is close to 10 offers.

Offensive lineman Chuck Filiaga has seen his stock blow up of late, and he picked up a couple offers from programs in the Lone Star State last week. On Friday, both the Texas Longhorns and TCU Horned Frogs offered Filiaga, out of Vista Murrietain California. Filiaga is originally from American Samoa and as more programs are learning of his talents, he continues to see his options grow. He's currently holding close to 25 scholarship offers.

Filiaga admits he doesn't know too much about the University of Texas at this point, but UT is a school he plans to keep an eye on and he wants to learn more about the Longhorn program.

"It (the UT offer) came out of the blue for me," Filiaga said. "I was excited. I really was. I don't know much about Texas, but since I have an offer from them, I'll be looking into them more."

Filiaga will be taking a visit to Southern Cal this Saturday (February 27). Beyond that, he has no other visits scheduled and he said he's keeping an open mind with the recruiting process.

"I do not (have any schools standing out)," Filiaga said. "I'm looking at everybody the same. When I find who has what I'm looking for, I'll let everyone know."

Filiaga checked in at 6-6 and 270 pounds at a Rivals.com camp last spring, but he says those numbers have changed. Filiaga reports he's now up to 6-7 and 330 pounds, which makes it understandable why he's such an attractive prospect for college coaches.

"My strengths are that I have long arms, I have good quickness," Filiaga said. "I'm working on improving my pad level and footwork."

It's still early for the four-star prospect, but Filiaga will clearly have a long list of options when he does begin to focus on the recruiting process. Texas has officially put it's name into the mix with a recent offer.

"I'm looking at everybody the same," Filiaga said. "I'm just more focused on my grades as of now. Once it gets to summer time, I'll start worrying more about football and college."
