good so far. It's early in the 2ndq and NC is ahead of Miami 24/3.
I like the storyline in this game. MB going into this game as an underdog against a coach he fired. Who's going to get the last laugh?

Good lord NC destroyed Miami 62/26. MB must have thought I fired your sorry dc ass for a reason.

NC gained 554 yards on the ground and 788 total yards. Wow you could tell Greg Davis isn't his oc anymore. Btw they played the starters for every td. There must be some really bad blood between these guys I mean I've never seen MB do that before. Why couldn't have felt this way about Bob Stoops?

Mack has gotten a little surly in his old age.

While that was an impressive win yesterday let’s not forget that UNC team also lost to a terrible Florida State and Virginia team. Recent bias at its finest.

What's your point?
That even a blind squirrel can find a nut every now and then. Look I love Mack but while that was an impressive win last night he has had a couple of bad performances against lesser opponents this year.

Dude he inherited a mediocre team. In his first year they went 7/6 and this year he's 8/3 and he'll probably finish 9/3 cause he's always been good in bowl games. If you watched ND/NC 2 weeks ago you'd have found out that Mack admitted to Herbstreit that NC didn't have a good enough offense yet to beat the elite teams yet.

But they finished in the top 20 in recruiting last year. They're in the top 15 this year and they're on track to finish in the top 10 next year. Hey we all knew he could recruit.

Look he took 5 years off and got back into coaching at age 68 and so far he's doing fine. And in his 2nd year they destroyed a top 10 team on national tv yesterday. He's still one of us be happy for him and don't knitpick.

We would be 8-3. Kansas

Yeah. Blind squirrel I guess found a nut at the same school that wasn't worth a shit before him on two different occassions.

Great point you made here

Oh, and they had the 13th ranked class last year and currently the 12th ranked class this year. So yeah, Mack is doing well...at North Carolina...again.

And? We were supposed to be fighting for a playoff spot. Nobody thought anything of UNC.

It's bad when 8-3 at UNC is the same as 8-3 at Texas.

It's funny when 8-3 UNC is a giant killer and 8-3 Texas gets the coach fired.

North Carolina has 16 9+ win seasons all time, and only 8 10+ win season all time. Mack has 5 and 3 of those respectively. UNC had one such season since Mack left in 1997. In Mack's second season at a school that went 3-9 and 2-9 the two years prior to Mack's arrival, UNC will probably have another 9 win season.

So yeah, he's doing quite well.

If I remember correctly, we were pretty damn excited in year 2 of TH and his 4 loss season, not trying to fire him.

If you want to post here and make mature posts about football discussion, fine, but you're not going to come over here and diss Texas. Take that crap to an OU board.

My apologies MM, I was talking sports and for some reason got a sniper shot, and returned fire. I will simply ignore in the future. I am not over here much but have been coming for years and enjoy the board and usually get along. Sorry to take up some of your time with this.
