It seemed the days following the election, I'd see numerous posts on social media about someones gay friend getting beat up, a group of thugs ripping women's hijabs off, and hispanics being told they're going to be shipped back to Mexico. I literally haven't seen one of these in the last week and a half or so. I just found it odd, that bigoted racists and homophobes laid in hiding their entire lives, only to come out the day after the election to commit their horrific acts, only to go back into hiding just a week later.
