Jones doing a media story on boosters pressuring Sark on playing players based on race? Sounds absurd. Hopefully, it's fake news and if so, someone should be liable for trying to stir the pot.

I saw this article as well I asked my brother about this article and he thinks that a lot of bmd are still mad at the more vocal black players in regards to the EoT issue last year.

And perhaps that's what Brian Jones is reacting to as bmd wanting black players benched in favor of white players. This story is not over and we'll find out of there is truth to this story.

I know one thing if this is true then our bmd are out of control and they're running the team. And if this is true then Hartzell and Del Conte need to grow some balls and finally set some boundaries.

I've already addressed this.

It was one booster at some luncheon or dinner or charity event of some sort-- where he voiced his opinion on Card starting over Thompson. His rationale was that Thompson had been given more than enough chances and his thumb was hurt.

Because Card is white and Thompson is black, Brian Jones has taken it upon himself (in a bid to stay relevant in the media) to exclaim that this is "racially motivated" even though it's not. And the booster that allegedly said it, is WIDELY known to be the exact opposite of a racist. But Brian Jones doesn't care. He simply wants attention by any way he can get it.

Brian needs to start being a better version of Brian.

This only illustrates the need to put the people who populated this program during the EoT non sense out of the program. We do not need social justice or any other crap in this program except people dedicated to winning football games. As soon as anyone decides to rear the "woke" shit, axe them. Deny any reporters who exhibit this behavior. Don't give them access.

All i know is that they could of had Saban in 13, But as he told Finebaum i didnt want to answer to 30 people. If they are stupid enough to fire Sark before 4 years they deserve everything they get which is to be a mediocre team. Texas will no longer attract good football coaches. These kid that are juniors and seniors have gone through 2 head coaches and what at least 4 coordinators, and we are wondering why they are inconsistent?

The only thing wrong with giving Sark a few years of lead rope is the fact that we don't know if he is a good head coach or not. If we had Saban, Urban, Dabo, or someone like that with skins on the wall, I would have no pause giving a long contract and letting them build for at least 5 years. Sark does not have that confindence from people because he has never been successful as a head coach. Do you let him work and take a chance of digging the hole deeper or do you pull the plug after 2 or 3 years. That is the million dollar question, how much do you trust Sark to get it done? I think we will know the answer after next year. Either there will be improvement or there won't.

If skins on the wall are what matter, then why hire Sark in the first place? Either you believed in the coach's culture and philosophy and will give him the time to implement it, or you really don't believe in him, and no matter how much time he gets, it won't matter.

Just saying it matters. They shot for the moon and missed on Urban and it was very public. They couldn't at that point go back and say they have faith in Herman and keep him. Sark was an option who was left and they gambled on him because at that point they had to do something. We'll see what he does to fix the issues this offseason and see if there is any improvement next year. I'm not calling for him to be fired yet.

Wut? Not sure I understand the argument. So, CDC and the admin didn’t know if he was a good HC when they hired him? On that basis, hire me at 6 million with a nice buyout. Not sure if I’d be a good HC. The admin signed him to a multi year contract. Let him do his job.

I meant it as exactly as I said it. No one knows if he is a good head coach because he hasn't won anything yet. I think most people's criteria for a good head coach is to win something, and he hasn't proven to be good yet.

This is the left's favorite tactic. Throw out a crazy, unsubstantiated rumor, and then jump to the worst conclusion possible "if this is true." Inside sources say Trump was in contact with Russia ... Trump had prostitutes in Moscow...Insiders were contemplating invoking the 26th amendment ... Trump paid Stormy Daniels ... "If this is true...."

I was told that the Queen has balls. If this is true, she's the king!

For Texas to get back to where it needs to be every booster I don’t care if you donate $5 $50 million dollars. I don’t care if your black, purple, green, or white to sit down and shut up, and let the coaches coach.

The boosters wanted Tom Herman he was their guy he was their pick.so much so I don’t think there was a plan B It didn’t work out. Then they wanted Urban Meyer. They shot their shot on that and it didn’t get done. You tried boys now let the professionals run this program. Although Casey hasn’t been great at times he’s been far better than Hudson in the opportunities given. I did think it started to click for card a little on Saturday though. Maybe he can take that in to spring.

as far as Brian Jones goes man stop trying to stir up shit. The boosters do that well enough on their own. They don’t need help
