When is best time to buy tickets?

Assuming you're not talking about a top tier game like OU or GA, how far out should you buy tickets to get the best possible price? A month? A week? I don't want to wait until game time, and I'm looking for seats near the 50, so doubtful those would be walk up tix anyway.

Thanks in advance. Been a while since I've had to pay for tix at DKR.
