No joke, this is sad. Top brass has always been involved politically but it usually stayed in the pentagon and dc but no more.
Handicapping operators in the field, easing baseline physical qualifications for inclusiveness, taxpayer funded sex change operations & medications, the list goes on.
I don't see how an all volunteer force can be sustained like this. The enlistment numbers have to be tumbling with the current tech generation. Who wants to bet against our military becoming the predominant route to citizenship for 18-20somthing immigrants in order to fill the empty boots? Maybe even a required 2yr service after HS.

It's fairly unique due to it being a conus ribbon but then again it won't count towards promotion, then again it might in this new equality first force. Just a headache having to redo all your dress blues.
I did get the other worthless conus OEF ribbon when we were flying Cap9 sorties over the east coast on 9-11. Emphasis on the word worthless. Yep, we were going to shoot down any following passenger aircraft over US soil. That would've gone over well.

any of you boys gotten to shoot the AA-12 shotgun?....scariest thing I ever saw.....can shoot 200 rounds a min with little recoil. You can load it with buckshot or drop in this nifty "grenade" round...armor piercing, badass. You would have a higher survival chance running a gauntlet of Pit Bulls wearing pork chop underware....

Love our military but we could be getting our noses bloodied in Syria by Russia and S China Sea/Taiwan by China in the near future.
Thought about buying one fir my dove trip to Argentina years ago for the shock value. Went with the benelli M2 with a 12 round extended tube. Loved it. Except after day 3.
Not I señior. There were similar auto shottys around but nothing that served a modern tactical value. Rounds take up too much space & are cumbersome in bulk. Throw one of these boys in trench warfare of ww2 and it's a different story.
With that being said......a box of cheap dove load is about $5. The facial expression of the game warden while writing a ticket for not having a plug installed, priceless.

I don't think there is a more ethnically diverse organization or company than our enlisted forces. You really get to know intimate details about all walks of life and then quickly have your ass humbled overseas at how much we all take American living standards for granted.
No exaggeration but our poverty line would be considered upper middle class in damn near half the world....if not more.
