Agree or disagree with her positions. That is fine. But since when can a duly elected official no longer state personal views on such issues. It is the voters who will reward or punish these positions. She may well be voicing the views of her constituency. There were some strong opinions, but no calls for violence or anything illegal. Since when do un-elected others, even party leadership, have the right to decide what opinions an elected representative may have - as long as they are not illegal, discriminatory or do not incite. Those were simply opinions. What is their right to expect her to resign. If everybody whose opinion I strongly disagree with had to resign there would be no Democrats in Congress.
