Poll after poll shows Trump to be trusted more by voters on the economy, on foreign policy, on the border and on crime. All issues that are ostensibly most important to the American voter.
The same polls show Kamala Harris to be much less trusted on these same issues.
Yet Kamala Harris continues to gain in polls and is nearing or even ahead of Trump in voter choices.
That tells me that this election is about personality and less about policies. Kamala's gains seem more about Trump turning off certain voters than about Kamala gaining their trust. She is not particularly well liked either, but she is doing a good job of disguising who she is.
So with good favorability ratings on the most important issues Trump needs to become the most lovable SOB in the country between now and the election. Take the negative spotlight off himself and let Kamala destroy herself and she will.
