Don't know if anybody has kept an eye on Charlie and Willie but both teams are 1 and 2 and both teams are complete train wrecks inside of dumpster fires.
Against a good Wisconsin team Charlie had 26 yards rushing and 131 yards passing while being shut out. Against a pretty garbage Georgia tech team, he had 92 yards rushing and 169 yards passing. He scored a late garbage TD to finish with 10 points. 10!
Against a stalwart south Carolina State team he managed to hang 55 on them.
Willie lost to a meh Boise State team and then hung on to beat Louisiana Monroe by a 45-44 margin. A barn burner between a nobody and the mighty Seminoles.
Yesterday Willie managed to lose to Virginia. Freaking Virginia.
Somewhere Steve Patterson is still looking down his nose at Texas fans because he knows his "historic hire" was what was best for the University.
The next time Texas fans look around and wonder why we aren't NOW where we WILL BE next year, just think of the massive dumbfvckery that is Steve Patterson. Patterson had one job and that was to hand the keys of a blue blood program over to a winning coach so we could reload and return to our rightful place at the top tier of college football---- and he fvcked it all up because he KNEW he was smarter than you. Yes you-- look at yourself in the mirror and realize that Steve BY GOD Patterson thinks you're fvcking stupid. That you don't know football like he does.
