Back in late February, @Anwar Richardson reported receiver Kennedy Lewis was suspended from the team, and expected back in June. A source indicated when Lewis returned back home, he continued training aggressively in the weight room, and took community college classes to help him return to Texas.

Confirmed today that Lewis has indeed rejoined the program, and he is again listed on the official roster. The redshirt freshman appeared very, very briefly last season, and rejoins a competitive and crowded receiver position group. Known for his intriguing upside thanks in part to his very impressive high school track background, the 6-3, 200-pound receiver was projected to compete at the 'X' spot in @Alex Dunlap's recent offensive depth chart.
