X played injured last season

So Sark comes out saying Worthy played with a broken hand the 2nd half of the season and that's why his numbers dwindled.

Whatcha think? X manned up for the team or Sark threw out some PR for Worthy to keep him from portal hopping?

I don't blame the player at all, I blame the coach for still putting him out there. I do remember him having a little bit of an issue with drops his freshman year but it was nothing like what we saw last season. You could definitely tell something was going on with him.

Yeah, I'm kinda in the same boat as you guys. Either Sark knowingly force fed a receiver with a broken hand or he is bs-ing us in order to make a player happy. Obviously we don't know which but neither way gives me a warm fuzzy.

I really hope this isn't a sign of some hidden behind the scenes drama. I guess we'll see how things and hopefully Xaviers improvement unfolds.

You can "break" a bone in your hand and not even know it. Happened to me once. Wouldn't have known it was broken unless I hadn't broken the one right next to it. I REALLY broke that one. And they were like "hey-- looky here... did you know you'd broken this one too? Hairline... tiny.. but broken."

I had no clue.

I dunno. A lot of targets his way were well overthrown (Ewers). I could imagine him saying to himself “aw shit, again” and giving up on the route. They just didn’t seem in sync for the last part of the year

I guess we'll just have to go with X had a broken hand and Ewers had a bum shoulder. Fingers crossed it's all ironed out this year
