they had to change the qualifications for getting a letter in 1969....turns out not one starter played enough minutes to qualify under the existing rules of that time. They were usually on the bench mid way through the second quarter. The second team was usually out by the 4th quarter.

I think you have one mistake. Herman said Sterns is starting safety opposite Jones, and Foster is backing up Sterns. So Brown must be behind Jones.
