No arguments here. Out of the last four decades, Texas has had one great (or really good one), the 2000's. That is the main timeline you are referencing and you guys had a great run there.
Someone else posted this awhile back, but in the 80's, 90's, and this decade, A&M has the better program on any data point you want to measure championships, overall record, etc (or we are tied). Combine that with the recent Forbes report and it is clear we are not back in the 60's and 70's. It is a new day. There is a reason the Big 12 Championship game draws the 11:00 AM time slot. You guys know that you need to be in a new conference. That may happen. We'll see. The other smart thing might be to pick up UCF and USF. Maybe Cincy and BYU. Not sure why the league did not pick up the Florida schools.
