Official Who will be the opponent in the Big 12 Championship Game Thread

Isn't your overall record over the last decade or so about .500 DESPITE having a top 5 class every year? Think about that. So incredibly little success with such an embarrassing amount of talent and money. However, I do like Sarkisian. He was a great hire. Seems like a good guy who has tamed the litter of prima donnas and removed the entitlement virus that has infected your program for a long time. You'll have much more immediate success in the SEC than UTN will have.

I'm going to give you a pass simply because the gal in your photo is so hot. At least you got that going for you. And that's something.

He dId very well at both N. Carolina and N. Texas re: offense. OU should be in good shape. Just need more big linemen on both sides.
 
I think it's going to be OSU. I bet BYU gets a big lead but then the game goes into overtime and OSU ends up winning on a fumble recovery in double OT. I could end up being wrong.

For future reference though, when you come down here to the Dungeon, it would behoove you to first introduce yourself, show a modicum of respect and then address your thoughts, issues or grievances with the topic at hand and THEN serve and volley.

Why not the previous record of 23 and 2 in favor of Texas? The series total is 26-11. Or the fact that Texas beat osu 12 years in a row at one point-- you seemed to totally gloss over that.

So congrats, I guess, on taking 2nd tier talent and coaching them up with a pretty good coach and staff, then putting a product out on the field that beat us a few times during the doldrums of our athletic program. Should we engrave you a plaque?

And yes, we are rich. Richer than the Catholic Church. And yes we have had our share of HORRIBLE coaching hires. We've also had our share of spoiled athletes. It happens when you're so filthy rich in oil money, and tech money, and water money, and cancer money and more oil money and even more oil money- sometimes you end up with a few brats at the ranch. Money doesn't guarantee class or pedigree- just look at Anderson Cooper.

As far as you giving me a pass, let's be clear while being polite-- you walked into this neighborhood. One I'm a part of. Your pass has no currency around here. No offense--- and yes she is hot. I wouldn't hook up with an ugly pornstar.

Judging by these replies, I'd say that Saturday has the potential to be a devastating day for you guys. I know the feeling all too well. You wake up Sunday and it just sucks. You lose another game to an inferior opponent just when you thought they had finally righted the ship. I'll repeat myself, the pressure is all on the Longwhorns. Nobody expects us to win. We're now 15 point dogs for crying out loud.
 
Hang on 777. This is 2023. You need to be more sensitive to other fan bases’ needs. OU’s little brother just needs to vent. Even though they’re 1-0 against the land thieves in the last half a season, they’ve still got to overcome that 90-17 record.

You want to talk about last few years and thats fine, keep that mind set. You obviously havent watched any Texas football this year. All you can do is run the ball and ask other teams how well that has worked for them this year.

Also side note..i never understood Another teams fan...taking time to go to a opponents forum football page to trash talk during the week. Its pretty pathetic and sad. Screams loneliness

Its funny, because his description of Sark's offense sounded more like the old Les Miles offenses than how I would view Texas. Texas isn't afraid to attack the middle of the field. They run inside and out. They aren't a big shift & motion team, but I would easily describe their offense as multiple.

This year he hasn't had to get really creative or open it up a ton because our defense has been playing well. He can turn it on when needed though.
