If we lose to Aggy does Aggy have to call us SEC champions?

In 2010 Aggy went 6-2 in conference (5 way tie for best conference record) but due to a tie breaker was not invited to the CCG. They claim a conference championship for that year.

If Texas were to lose to aggy next week, would Texas be in the same circumstance. Obviously Texas wouldn’t do something so Aggy but would aggy have to consider us conference champions.

Texas all but clenched home playoff game at minimum.

After this weekend’s crazy games, did Texas clinch a home field playoff game at minimum?

Top 4 byes to conference champions.
5 and 6 seed to ND and Big 10 loser.
7 seed to 1 loss Penn st
8th seed Texas (with A&M loss), Tennessee, Indiana, or ACC runner up

I think Texas would get the nod for the 8th seed unless we have blowout loss to A&M.

Only scenario against would be if A&M somehow wins SEC. Then Georgia might get the 8th seed.

However when we kick A&Ms ass next week. We will clinch a 1-8 seed for sure.

Overall the game I watched we manhandled a pretty decent team. The game was never in doubt so I don’t understand “damn near gave the game away”. Final score was 31-14. WTF? And I thought you were a hard nose badass player? Playing hurt is heroic. I loved seeing Quinn fight through it. He threw some beautiful throws. And the 14 handoffs for the last drive were amazing.😁

I'm all for being a hero. I'm all for dudes playing hurt---- so long as they aren't jeopardizing their teams win.
I will never forget Byron Leftwich being carried by his offensive line down the field after each completion- truly epic.

But Byron was still slinging it. And effectively.

Quinn couldn't throw a ball. He had no gas left.

And as far as the fumbles- fvck yes I'm pissed.
You think "only losing 2" is going to get us past a team like Georgia?
What if we "only lose 2" fumbles to aggy next week? You think they won't make us pay for that?
