Horrible at bats. But hats off to Eovaldi. He pitched to our impatience/aggression and used it to his advantage.
That is the type of thing that will cost us this game. Correa is way too good of a hitter to do that. That pitch was never a strike. Wasn’t close.
just too aggressive…no discipline at the plate for correa, tucker, and mccormick.
Why decide your swinging no matter where the ball is at?? Damn, how easy were those 3 strikeouts, none were within a foot of the strike zone. There was no way they could put the bat on the ball, yet all 3 were swinging for the fence. We just needed contact and put the ball in play.
