I’m coming in to this thread late and hot fellas. Been doing my part celebrating. Don’t care who we get in the WS. And neither does this team.

The history of this team the last 5 years should put any of that ptsd crap to bed....and frankly I don't like the term PTSD to apply to anything that's a sporting event.
PTSD occurs from far worse incidents than fans dealing with losing seasons
Once this team made postseason I had no doubt they were going to go a long long way cnapp.
There were going to be the usual heroes that would propel the Astros forward and there would be people who we didn't expect to do the same thing.
We had two of those guys on the pitchers mound the last 2 games..... Those guys over came their last bad starts and did the job a lot of people didn't expect them to do including some people here.
But those people who talked that noise don't sit in that dugout and they don't know the caliber of the player that is in there. Good start or bad every single person in that dugout earned their way there and as long as their teammates don't lose faith in them perhaps we shouldn't either.
I think they all realize how special it is...... This team is been through a lot in the last 3 years and when you have to endure humiliation which quite frankly was inflicted by themselves it makes you appreciate what you have to do.
This team also understands what a double standard is as well.
This franchise may never find true redemption because of what happened there will always be people who question it and the like in the name of " the purity of the game" whatever that means.
But the idea is understand that those people will be out there but your focus and your mission should always be looking ahead and never looking back
The stadium was hopping and the streets outside afterwards were crazy. My youngest boy (10) had the time of his life. I think this was probably just his third game that he has been to the whole game and not needed to walk around or leave. He came home drank some water cause his throat hurt and crashed after telling his mom (who didn’t go) that it was the time of his life. What a great game and an awesome time had by all.
I for one am glad we have a few days off. Much needed, although tomorrow will be my bullpen day.

We took down the Red Sox with three of our best hitters in slumps. Altuve, Brantley and Bregman are too good and will likely rebound next series.

Just waking up after going to the game and getting in late last night. I thought the double play by the strikeout and Maldonado throw was the play of the game. The home run by Tucker, which if 2 feet shorter or 3 feet to the right would not have been a home run, was the back breaker. Just a great game all around.
