The last 15 years of the Texas football program have been filled with long seasonal lists of weaknesses and deficiencies that at times were too numerous to fully list. But this season is different. Rather than seeing post after post on this board made by concerned posters about all the problems in the program, and Orangebloods is a much happier place to hang out.

Just off the top of my head, here is a list of 20 things Longhorns fans aren't having to stress over this week:

  • Missed tackles;
  • Soft coverage;
  • Too much QB pressure from opposing defenses;
  • Our starting QB taking a beating due to poor line play;
  • No running room for the backs;
  • A lack of quality hands and legs in the receiver room;
  • Tight Ends who are non-factors;
  • Brain-dead halftime adjustments;
  • Brain-dead game plans;
  • Lack of player development;
  • Taking a bunch of who-dats in recruiting;
  • Wondering if this will be the year the team breaks into the Top 20;
  • Wondering who our next Defensive Coordinator/offensive line coach will be after this one is fired;
  • Where's Jake Smith posts on game day;
  • No quality depth at DT and Safety;
  • Bad fundamentals on both offense and defense;
  • What Sooner fans are mocking us about today;
  • No attention from the talking heads on ESPN and FS1;
  • Being an "I don't get no respect" football program for good reason;
  • Having an Athletics Director who has either retired on the job, is just a temp, or is an abject moron.
What a glorious time to be a Longhorns fan.
