On Friday, this proud papa will watch his son walk across the stage to receive a degree from McCombs School of Business at THE University of Texas with a 4.0 GPA.
His first onesie was bought by his mom . It was burnt orange and said "come early, be loud, stay late, wear orange." She wrapped it as a gift and gave it to me to surprise me with the news that I was going to be a dad.
I carried him on my shoulders to DKR for years when he was too little to do all that walking, and we go back together Saturday night for the university-wide celebration.
I can't wait! This weekend can't get here soon enough.
