after sweeping tcu wednesday night, the ladies begin the home stretch as they travel to ames, iowa to take on the lady cyclones saturday at 5 (yep, same time as football).
Texas 20-2, 12-0 big12, 1st place
isu 18-5, 8-4 big12, 4th place
the match is available as a stream online but one will have to pay for it.
Texas swept isu when they came to austin but i expect this match to be much more difficult. isu beat kansas at home this year so Texas will have to be focused.
i've mentioned before that, for Texas to host a regional, winning out is necessary. and even then they need help from other teams.
Texas will play 3 ranked opponents in their last 4 matches. they have an opportunity to make a statement. hope they take advantage.
