2019 Louisville (Ky.) Trinity defensive end Stephen Herron (Texas offer) talks Longhorns and plans for a summer visit to Austin.

Here's what he said about Texas:

Texas: “That’s a big offer, some people maybe don’t think it’s that big because it’s Big 12 and it’s not the biggest conference or small stuff like that. But Texas is big for football, there are a lot of Texas athletes that have gone on to do big things. I have some family that lives close to there in Houston and they have a great fan base. I could see myself having an early impact there. Don’t count Texas out. Every summer we go down there to visit people so that’s probably when I’ll visit Texas. We’ll be down there at the end of the month and I planning on making that trip.”

It's not the big 12, the problem is our failure to compete in the big 12. If we had won all our games in the big 12 last year, we would have been in the playoffs. And the recruits, and you guys, wouldn't complain. That's just my opinion so don't go beserk.
