A couple of thoughts from Atlanta…

First off, we spent a couple days in Chattanooga with the kids for New Years. Much lower key than Atlanta and the airport is super easy to get in and out of. Overall, I’d recommend it if you’re thinking of options the third week in January. Also, our kids are between 10-13 and the aquarium there was surprisingly solid.

Arizona State fans I encountered were probably equally split between those that were just happy to be there to those that didn’t see a way they could lose. All I talked to post game were pretty gracious in defeat though.

The infrastructure around the stadium to leave is a complete cluster. You might as well just find a bar and wait two hours before even attempting to get an uber. Lesson learned for sure the next time we’re there.

The GM of a restaurant came up to us at breakfast this morning and I thought he was going to congratulate us on the win when he said “I’ve told all the Texas fans this today but thank you for Bijan. He’s the best thing to happen to Atlanta in a very long time.” Thought that was super cool and you could tell the guy was being very sincere.

Might think of some more things to add but man, what an unforgettable trip.
