I've posted this in numerous threads, but not everyone sees stuff that gets posted in threads, so here's a few things to know...

a. Texas will likely lose a couple of key contributors in the next 24-36 hours to the Portal, but I'm told that the view from inside if that no one that is considered must-keep by any means needed will be on that list. That doesn't mean that a starter won't be one of them, but it's not going to be anyone that won national or All-SEC honors from what I know.

b. There is wide spread action taking place behind the scenes and the tension is kind of high, from the AD office all the way down to the analysts. It's been all hands on deck in the name of player retention.

c. Texas isn't getting the help it needs from its billionaires. They might like coming to the stadium and enjoying the wins, but they have displayed zero desire to get in the game from an NIL standpoint. It has Texas in a disadvantage as the costs of NIL have skyrocketed in the last 3 months. More help is needed. Period. Or Texas can't do everything it wants to do from a roster building and retaining standpoint.
