--- Gardena (CA) Serra WR LV Bunkley-Shelton is on his way home from his weekend unofficial visit. I'm supposed to connect with him tonight, so should have a full report soon. This was a visit he was very much looking forward to and he and his family came in on their own dime, so this is definitely one to watch closely. I'd be shocked if Texas isn't strongly in the mix here all the way until the end.
--- On Monday, Lufkin DB Jerrin Thompson will be in for a visit. I talked to Thompson today and will have a story out later previewing the visit, but he's very high on Texas. Thompson isn't necessarily coming to Austin with the intention of committing, but he's not ruling it out either.
"They would have to impress me. I would have to like it that much, let my heart take over. Whatever happens, happens," he said.
I put my FutureCast in for Texas after talking to Thompson today. Seems like the Longhorns are the team to beat, although he did mention the possibility of visiting Notre Dame at some point.
--- 2021 WR Latrell Neville was hoping to visit Texas this weekend but his visit got pushed back. He'll now be in Austin on Monday (or maybe Tuesday, but Monday more likely). This one will be interesting. He's young and he's been high on schools like LSU and Oklahoma as well, but things are trending well for Texas right now. If Texas pushes this week, I could see a commitment going down soon.
--- 2021 RB Brandon Campbell was another that was planning to visit this weekend, but I'm hearing that one will probably happen on Monday or Tuesday as well (need to confirm directly with Campbell). As I said in the War Room last week, Texas is surging there, especially now that Jalen Milroe has committed.
