I continue to hear things are going very well for this weekend's official visitors. Very, very well.
A couple comments from guys ...
Reggie Hemphill - "The love they're showing us is ridiculous."
Stephon Taylor - "What's better than a great coaching staff?" Taylor added that he's blown away by how big UT is and how great the environment is.
Zach Shackelford - "The fans are crazy. People (are) calling my name out at the basketball game. The other commits are cool. This place is special."
Malcolm Roach - "I'm having a great time. I love it down here!"
Gerald Wilbon - "I can say that I can't wait until I'm officially a Longhorn. I feel I will become a family with this team. It's an outstanding school and it gives me options to be successful."
--- FYI, UT President Greg Fenves met with the recruits. I've communicated with a few people and I was told that Fenves' message was about how much he supports Charlie Strong, that Strong is a good coach and a good man. He also spoke on life as a student athlete at Texas and how much he's enjoying being president at UT.
For those wondering, there was no talk of a contract extension for Strong but Fenves did tell the recruits Strong has his full support.
